Honk! Smash! Moo! is a picture-and-sound play app for toddlers and preschoolers, about 2 to 5. There is nothing to read and no way to lose. It plays offline and has no accounts, ads, or tracking.
Press and hold the gear button in the top corner until its ring fills, then pass the grown-up check below. A quick tap does nothing, so little fingers do not open it by accident, and Settings opens only after the check. Settings holds the comfort and accessibility choices (Wind Down, Soft Sounds, Background music, Calm Motion, Show Words, High Contrast, Color Helpers, Left-handed, and vibration), the All-done timer, which worlds show on the menu, a short play summary, and About & privacy.
All of Settings sits behind a grown-up check: the app shows a three-digit number written in words, for example "seven, two, five", and you enter it on the keypad. The keypad order changes every time, and a wrong number is replaced by a new one. After three wrong numbers the check closes and play continues, with Settings shut. Once you pass, Settings opens and you will not be asked again until you close it. If Settings sits idle for a few minutes, the next grown-up action (a link out of the app such as this page, a timer or worlds change, Restore defaults, or Start Fresh) asks again.
On iPhone and iPad, turn on Guided Access in Settings › Accessibility, then triple-click the side (or Home) button while the game is open. The device stays in the app until you triple-click again.
Settings › Start Fresh erases stickers, drawings, gardens, builds, souvenirs, and play history on this device after the grown-up check and a second confirmation. Sound and accessibility choices stay. Deleting the app removes everything.
Play makes no network requests, and the app sends nothing it records to us or anyone else. Read the full privacy policy.
